Storage of paddle boards

Apr 27, 2024

(1) After using the paddle board, remember to remove all accessories to avoid scratching the board when packing it; Then be sure to rinse with clean water, let the water dry, and ensure that the paddles are in a dry state when folded and stored.
(2) Although the design of inflatable paddles is mainly for convenient storage in bags, people with storage space (such as in a garage) usually keep their paddles partially inflated. If you use paddleboards frequently and don't want to deflate and inflate every time. I suggest you release a small amount of air to prevent the temperature in the storage area from being too high, and thermal expansion may damage the side seal of the board, causing air leakage.
(3) The storage location of the paddle board should be careful to avoid direct sunlight, as direct sunlight can cause natural thermal expansion. This will cause pressure on the joints of the inflatable paddle board, especially if the inflatable paddle board has been inflated to the maximum air pressure value. In summary, do not place your paddles under the scorching sun when not in use. Otherwise, intense sunlight exposure will damage the appearance of the board.
